At this time, a recent highschool graduate was walking the beach with her family where they would spend each summer.  But this summer, there would be no boating, fishing or swimming.  Her last summer before going off to college and she could only look at the globs of oil on the beach, but she realized that this was historic and must be preserved so people will never forget what happened here.

She had made resin jewelry before and thought this would be a great way to preserve and seal samples of this oil. Each piece of jewelry is designed and hand made with imbedded oil, collected on the beaches of Dauphin Island.

Jewelry was created and sold for a few months.  The remaining pieces that were made at that time has resurfaced and is once again avaliable to the public.

Once all the pieces are sold, no more can be made. 

Each piece comes with a certificate of Authenticity from the young lady who made them during the summer of the oil spill.
